HardPoint Global Inc.
Where research
meets reality.
HardPoint partners with researchers and technology innovators to turn promising ideas into deployable products and operational capabilities, with the potential to build enduring businesses.
01 / The mission
Your research deserves
more than a paper.
A promising result or working prototype is an important step. Turning it into a product also requires engineering, testing, manufacturing preparation, and a practical route to customers.
HardPoint Global Inc. brings experienced technical and business support to that transition, helping develop products that can be manufactured, supported, and put to use.
We help coordinate the disciplines around your research, so you do not have to assemble the entire development effort from scratch—and have more room to advance your research and develop the next idea.
02 / Our expertise
Experience that reaches
from theory to hardware.
HardPoint’s leadership and technical team bring more than 30 years of hardware and software development experience. We connect that expertise across disciplines to address the product as a complete system.
Years of experience
Our multidisciplinary resources combine PhD-level expertise in advanced software, artificial intelligence, and electrical engineering with exceptional practical depth in mechanical engineering, rugged product design, and manufacturing.
Our capabilities extend across the complete system
Advanced software architecture and development
Artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and trusted computational workflows
Electrical and electronic system engineering
Analog, digital, power, and embedded circuit design
Printed circuit board design, component selection, schematic development, and board layout
FPGA, embedded processing, networking, and edge-computing architectures
Mechanical design, thermal management, structural packaging, and environmental protection
Ruggedization for shock, vibration, temperature, and moisture, with EMI/EMC and ESD.
System integration, prototyping, verification, qualification planning, and production transition
This breadth allows HardPoint to work from first principles through board-level design, mechanical packaging, software implementation, complete system integration, and field demonstration.
03 / The pathway
From research
to deployment.
Our approach connects technical development with the preparation needed for production and commercial use. The scope depends on the technology, its intended application, and what the researcher wants to achieve.
The knowledge, processes, and relationships developed along the way can support subsequent products—and, where appropriate, an enduring business.
Research translation
Define the intended use, technical objectives, and commercial considerations, turning promising research into a practical development plan.
Multidisciplinary engineering
Develop and integrate the hardware and software, bringing electrical, electronic, mechanical, thermal, and environmental engineering into one coherent system.
Field-ready development
Build, test, and demonstrate prototypes in representative conditions, gathering evidence to guide design decisions and qualification planning.
Product realization
Prepare for manufacturing and commercial development, considering production readiness, financial requirements, and how the product will reach customers.
04 / Product concept
Research conceptPower Response
Platform.
Helping power systems respond to demanding loads—and using machine learning to accelerate design refinement.
The Power Response Platform concept combines power conversion, energy storage, and local controls to buffer the effects of sudden changes in electrical demand. The goal is to improve power quality and help demanding equipment operate reliably within the capabilities of the available power source.
In the laboratory, machine learning would help engineers identify response patterns, prioritize promising design changes, and choose the next experiment. Controlled testing would establish whether those changes improve performance and how they affect size, weight, and efficiency.
Local control. Independent protection.
Engineers review proposed changes. Local controls and independent protection govern hardware operation.
Support alongside the main power path.
The branch supplies or absorbs energy to counter changes in load demand.
Prepare when useful information is available.
Receive a load-change notice
Check its timing and validity before using it.
Prepare storage within approved limits
Retain energy to supply the bus, or leave capacity to absorb it.
Report readiness and compare results
Matched lab tests show whether advance notice helps.
External messages inform preparation. Local control retains switching authority and operates without those messages.
A path from operating evidence to improvement.
Demonstrate the cycle in the lab
Use recorded events and machine learning to guide controlled experiments.
Extend to service experience
A future field unit could return approved event records for investigation.
Validate before deployment
Review the evidence and authorize an update before it reaches operating equipment.
Field recording, operational integration, and update delivery are future extensions of the laboratory concept.
Capture the evidence
Preserve selected measurements and operating context before, during, and after a power event.
Learn from the response
Use machine learning to compare test results and identify promising changes to controls, settings, or hardware for engineering review.
Validate the improvement
Recreate operating conditions and test approved changes against a baseline. Measured results determine whether a change is an improvement.
Concept illustration. Performance and deployment readiness require engineering development and validation.
05 / About HardPoint
Experience
behind the work.
HardPoint Global Inc. brings together a team with decades of experience in engineering and product development. Our collective background spans aerospace, robotics, energy storage, industrial automation, networking, and cybersecurity.
That experience includes high-performance computing for high-altitude environments, deep-ocean communications, and field systems engineered for extreme environments. We also bring practical experience in manufacturing, funding, and commercialization—the work needed to carry a technology beyond a successful prototype.
That background helps us consider the product as a whole: how it will perform, how it can be built, and what it will take to bring it into use.
